I wrote an introduction post with some information about us and why we started this website, but we thought it would be good to have an “About Us” page in case you wanted to learn more about our family.

I work in children’s mental health but am currently a stay at home mom waiting for the arrival of baby number 2.
When I am not busy with K, I am working on starting a side business in event decor.
Dada – Kevin 👨🏻💻
I am our in-home photographer and a self-employed entrepreneur that enjoys blogging here at MontessoriMethod.com.
I have experience with building websites and writing, which gave me the idea to start a blog to document our parenting journey.
Our Montessori Journey
We first started learning about Montessori right around when K was born and have fallen in love with the parenting and education approach since.
Although we aren’t experts in either Montessori or parenting, we created this website and our Instagram account to share our journey with other parents who are interested in learning more about the Montessori Method, want to get Montessori ideas for at home or who just want to follow along with our journey.
Also pictured above are Daisy and Duke, our two golden retriever fur babies (8 and 2 yo). They are our original babies and have been amazing with K!
